THE FARM

Fort Hill Farm is a family-run, certified organic farm growing in the heart of New Milford, CT. Since 2002, we’ve used farming practices that promote healthy soils, reduce pests, and protect our environment. Our goal is to produce the highest quality, freshest, organically grown food we can for local food lovers in western Connecticut.

PRODUCE

We offer an incredibly diverse range of seasonal crops (over 225 varieties!) ~ available at our farmstand, two local farmers’ markets, a natural food market, and area restaurants.

ORGANIC DAHLIA TUBER STORE

After many seasons of lovingly growing and observing dahlias in our Pick Your Own flower patch, we now offer the very best varieties for your home garden - ordered in the winter and shipped out in the spring.

SPRING PLANTS

In addition to our high-quality, organically grown produce, we offer a variety of certified organic garden seedlings for you to transplant into your own garden in the spring. We grow heirloom, standard, cherry, plum, and patio tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, melons, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, roots, greens, and a wide selection of culinary herbs.

CSA

Through our Community Supported Agriculture program, we connect with our local food community by putting the “farmer’s face” on our organically grown produce. As members, you invest in our unique, discounted, Harvest Card debit system and help to defray the deep winter and spring start-up costs inherent to farming. In return, you receive the freshest, most nutritious food available, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. In addition, you are preserving working farmland, supporting sustainable agriculture, reducing trucking and packaging costs, and keeping farmers on the land. CSA works for you, local agriculture, and the environment!
